Natural Stone Traders Giving Back To The Community!

Natural Stone Traders is committed to having a positive impact on people and the environment.  One of our projects this past year was to open a safe and reliable way for villagers living nearby our manufacturing unit to have access to clean water. By bringing safe drinkable water to the people we bring hope, and health.  This was one of our most special projects as it has a huge impact on many people who will now have access to one of the most basic needs as humans, water.

Water is essential in our everyday lives.  We just can't survive without it. Imagine having to walk miles and miles to fetch water. This was the plight of many people living in the villages. Every single day villagers were walking and carrying heavy buckets of water along far distances to bring this precious liquid to their families. This kind of work is usually the burden of women, young adolescent girls, and even children. It was crucial for us to step in and offer a helping hand.  As humans water is our life source.  We use it for drinking, bathing, cooking, washing and so much more.

We saw a great need and we acted. We felt a huge responsibility to give back and offer our help to the community.  By providing safe drinking water we also bring health. Unclean water is responsible for many gastrointestinal conditions and it doesn't have to be this way. By opening drinkable water taps we are helping the community by eradicating these afflictions that are common when drinking unsafe unsanitized water.

We are very proud of the impact our water project is having in the nearby villages. No longer will women have to walk great distances looking for a safe water source. We believe that water is a human right, everyone should have access to safe drinkable water.
